Gas safety check cost: one appliance, two, and what is extra

What to ask before you book
- What does each appliance after the first cost?
- Is the price with or without VAT, and is there a call-out charge?
- Will any repair the check finds be quoted separately, in writing, before it is done?
Prices are what each firm advertises on its own page, read in October 2026. The full list is in the UK Gas Safety Certificate Price Index.
